Join fellow BMW CCA members at K1 Speed Irvine for an Oktoberfest evening of camaraderie with racing, food, & drinks! This will be LA Chapter’s first Oktoberfest gathering in many years and space is limited, so don’t wait to register. The evening will feature K1’s Grand Prix format which includes three run sessions: Practice, Qualifying, and Race, along with food and drinks to round out the event.
EVENT REMINDERS
- All racers must arrive no less than 30 minutes before the scheduled event start time
- Racers must meet height requirements: 48 inches for junior karts and 58 inches for adult karts
- All new racers must create a racer profile and sign a waiver upon arrival
- Closed – toed shoes are required, and long hair must be secured.
- No refunds or credits will be provided for absent drivers.
GENERAL SAFETY RULES
- K1Speed, at its discretion may remove or penalize any racer that is deemed dangerous to themselves or others
- Go-Karting is a form of racing, and as such is subject to inherent risks, which may be caused by the driver or other participants. Racing can be physically demanding and should not be considered by those with sensitive health conditions. All participating guests must sign a waiver acknowledging their understanding and acceptance of these risks
- If any damage is done to K1Speed property by any event guest(s), the offending guests will be held responsible for damages or losses caused whether willfully or by accident. This includes, but is not limited to, gokarts, barriers décor, arcade games, and other equipment or structures.
ALCOHOL POLICY
- No outside alcoholic beverages are permitted
- Alcohol service must be arranged through K1Speed at least 7 business days in advance and is subject to availability
- K1Speed has a zero – tolerance policy for racing under the influence; any visibly impaired racers will not be permitted to race
- Violations may result in event termination without refund.
All cancellation requests are subject to review and approval by the BMW CCA Los Angeles Chapter.
Because this event requires advance reservations, prepayment, and coordination with the facility, refunds are not guaranteed.
The Chapter will make reasonable efforts to accommodate cancellations; however:
- Refunds, if granted, may be partial and may be subject to administrative or processing fees.
- Late cancellations, no-shows, or cancellations made after the facility’s cutoff date may be ineligible for any refund.
- Any approved refund will be issued only after the Chapter has confirmed that event costs and commitments allow for reimbursement.
By registering for this event, participants acknowledge and accept that refunds are not assured and that all cancellation decisions are made at the sole discretion of the BMW CCA L.A. Chapter.
